Happy New Year, everyone! My name is Carlos Briones, and this is my good friend, and co-host Jana Lee. Before we begin, you are invited to visit all the booths each Chinese class has created. At 6:30 PM, we will have a sit-down dinner, and there will be performances designed by our classmates. Bathrooms are located on my left (point). Please feel free to visit each and every booth, and have a good time.

Everyone should be done with booths. EVERYTHING must be completed by now. Depending on what your booth is about please choose a spot on the tables shown above. The tables that split in two parts have the most space. Please, if your booth doesnt require much space, dont take the big spots on the tables such as 1,2,3,4,11,12. BOOTH Set up ( Pick a spot by Feb the 1 or your booth will be placed randomly)

Make sure you have materials in order to set up your banner, games, etc. Dont wait to the last minute to plan your setup.

Supplies: String + Many packs of red envelopes (going to buy this weekend; String from Michael's & red envelopes from chinese places needed by Jan. 24)
Booths: Each must have a banner with a name for their booth and can be decorated any way they want, as long as it's Chinese New Year-related (due: Jan. 24)
Use: Ms. Chen's materials
Media and communciation managers (2): 古兆斯, 巴青忠
using the digital signage (monitors outside studio) to promote
The dimensions need to be 1280 x 720 pixels. Any text in the graphic should be kept off the edge of the image so that we can be sure it will not bleed into the edge of the monitor frame. A good rule of thumb is to leave an inch or so around the graphic that is free of text.

Contemporary long fist is more like a dance, requiring great amounts of flexibility such as gymnastics

Also called 武術 (wushu) which literally means martial arts.
There are two types of wushu, but that night I will be doing 套路 (tao lu: forms). (the other type is 散打 (sanda) which is sparring)
